The sad reality is that the product has ZERO Zeaxanthin in it, and Lutein is best ingested with Zeaxanthin. An even larger travesty is that they only have 250 Micrograms of Lutein per dose. The American Optometric Association recommends 10 mg of Lutein and 2 mg of Zeaxanthin a day, as both are needed for absorption of each other. Centrum Silver has 250 mcg which is 40 times lower than the recommended amount and even worse considering they have zero Zeaxanthin in the product!!
